The Kartala Waterfall can be seen when walking on the road between Veliko Tarnovo and Preobrazhenski Monastery through Kartala peak. The water drop is about 8-10 m. Its location is easy to find - from the town of Veliko Tarnovo it goes north through the Kartala district or to the northwest through the Varusha neighborhood. It runs along the paths to the rock wreath above the Preobrazhenski Monastery, and the walk takes 40 minutes. It is also possible to pass through the Preobrazhenski monastery along the trail to the town of Veliko Tarnovo. This route is longer, but it is very exciting because there is the opportunity to visit several caves.
